Veronafiere announces the calendar of second semester 2020: trade fairs, congresses and events restart safely in September, responding to the needs of businesses and markets. Among the 15 events scheduled in Verona is the second edition of Festival del Futuro, from 19 to 21 November in attendance.
The restart is foreseen by the latest security protocols, validated by Technical-scientific committee (CTS) as established with the DPCM of 7 August 2020. Veronafiere together with Aefi, the reference association for Italian fairs, and the other players in the sector in Italy, has defined a regulatory protocol (in compliance with the guidelines for the reopening of economic and productive activities of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces) aimed at providing organizational and operational guidelines to increase the effectiveness of the precautionary containment measures adopted to combat the COVID-19 epidemic, during demonstrations and events.
Masks, apps, sanitizations: the new rules
Use of PPE (personal protective equipment, starting from masks), spacing, medical devices, periodic cleaning and sanitizing of spaces, redesigned and optimized for the occasion according to the regulations, adequate information signs, a emergency plan organized and punctual, training of personnel in contact with the public and health checks at the entrances are just some of the initiatives aimed at the total safety of the exhibition center and its offices. Essential rules that confirm the level of safety that Veronafiere has always ensured during all phases of its exhibitions and events (set-up-unfolding-dismantling).
In addition to these, to ensure maximum hygiene and respect for spacing, Veronafiere has chosen to sanitize all environments on the eve of the events, to install thermoscanners at the entrance turnstiles and set up control of the gatherings with cameras. Finally, an information point and services will be set up for all events with isolation room dedicated to any symptoms of COVID-19.
Access and contacts during fairs are also provided in "contactless" mode thanks to the event apps, which allow entry to the event with QRcode, the exchange of virtual business cards, the geo-localized map and the booking of restaurants within the exhibition areas. The initiatives scheduled in the second half of the year will therefore primarily guarantee health safety for employees, exhibitors and visitors and a growing integration between the physical, essential, and digital model.
