Festival of the Future launches a prize which aims to select and promote the Italian technological innovation system: Festival of the Future Startup Award 2020 - this is the name of the initiative launched yesterday during the third appointment with the Future Talks webinar - is aimed at all Italian and European startups, without sector or size limitations.
Among the requirements for participation there is registration (free) to the Experience the Future online community, already animated by dozens of companies, research centers and investors. A selection committee will identify, among all the candidates, the 10 finalists, who will have the opportunity to compete on the stage of the Future Arena of Experience The Future, the Italian innovation fair that supports from 19th to 21st November at the Verona Fair there second edition of the Festival of the Future.
The best of the finalists will get a series of services for a value of 15 thousand euros, including a stand at the 2021 edition of the Festival and consultancy and communication services by the promoters of the event: GEA - Business consultants, Athesis publishing group and Harvard Business Review Italia.
The requirements for the candidacy
In order to compete, a startup must comply with certain requirements including: being a company born no earlier than 2014 whose main activity is strongly characterized by innovative elements; be based in the European Union; offer innovative solutions to high rate of scalability in every field of application; be registered with the community Experience The Future.
Applications must be received by 6 pm on 19 October 2020. By 30 October 2020, the technical jury will select the 10 finalist startups for the award. On November 20, the 10 finalists will compete on the stage of the Festival of the Future, where the winner will be announced.
