Festival of the Future | Towards new models of work between physical and digital

Smart working is here to stay. How many times have we heard and read it for almost two years now. Among the first effects of the lockdown, remote work was a collective experience that convinced companies, large or small, also allowing freelancers a new daily agility. But what's the right balance in this hybrid age? Some companies, especially Big Tech like Twitter is Spotify, have decided that their employees will be able to choose how to manage their day. In fact, it seems that the presence in the office is no longer one discriminating decisive: on the other hand, the (increasing) responsibility assigned to workers and the achievement of objectives matter. To the Festival del Futuro, scheduled in Verona and streaming from 18 to 20 November, the agenda also includes a panel entitled Towards new models of work between physical and digital (on the 19th from 4.45pm).

Smart working: how will it evolve?

If it is true that many people in Italy are in smart or home working, the growing traffic in cities shows that much is (partly) back as in the pre-pandemic era. All this obviously has consequences on traffic and transport: among the trends of the future, that of mobility sustainable and gods means public more and more capillaries it is valid as an alternative to the car. All this must be considered if a company wants to put into practice a new working model, which takes into account the productivity, well-being of employees and collaborators and its own social role.

The transition to the smart working had been in existence for some time. The emergency experienced in Italy and in the world has accelerated the process, putting entrepreneurs and workers in front of alternatives. To the Festival del Futuro case studies and useful reflections will be proposed with guests and experts. To look to the future with greater awareness.
