The Festival del Futuro gives space to innovation: it is called Future Arena the new format that expands and completes the rich program of the event to be held at the Verona Fair from Thursday 18 to Saturday 20 November, comparing internationally renowned experts on the macro trends that characterize the development of the planet. The guests
Enrico Pandian, serial entrepreneur from Verona, founder of successful startups such as Supermercato24 and now at the helm of Startup Gym, Jade Zhang, 25-year-old CEO and co-founder of Mulan Group which supplies Italian supermarkets with Chinese products, e David Dattoli, co-founder and CEO of Talent Garden, the largest European platform dedicated to coworking and digital training. They are three leading figures in the Italian innovative ecosystem, and they are among the protagonists of the Future Arena program, which in the three days of the Festival will propose a series of initiatives in which to get to know the world of innovation and startups up close and make it meet with that of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Furthermore, among the highlights of the program, a focus on 5G and, on Saturday, a series of events in partnership with theUniversity of Verona, which will deepen its projects dedicated to innovation. Then startup pitch, live demo - or technologies shown to the public - and it Startup spritzer, pitch and networking aperitif where local startups meet with investors and SMEs. Festival del Futuro is promoted by the Athesis Publishing Group, Harvard Business Review Italy and Corporate Excellence. Future Arena is organized in collaboration with Blum, a consulting company specialized in communicating innovation produced by SMEs, startups and research centers.
November 18
Future Arena opens on Thursday 18 November at 1 pm, with the live demo “Innovation versus Covid” in which the startups Fybra, Isinnova and Wi4b will be presented. At 6 pm the talk Innovation Stories has as protagonist Enrico Pandian. Followed by a round table with the SpeedHub Foundation, Tech4Life Project, ICE Lab of the University of Verona and Massimo Pasquali, Head of Business Coordination of Banco BPM. Then there is Enactus, an international competition for social entrepreneurship projects for university students. At 19 it starts Startup spritzer: aperitif and networking with a startup corner that will host the pitches of startups from Verona and Veneto.
November 19
On Friday 19 at 1 pm the pitch on the topic Farming The Future and sustainability will see the startups Finapp, XFarm, EzLab, Nando and Vaia as protagonists. At 6 pm an Innovation Story with a double interview format: a comparison David Dattoli is Jade Zhang. At 6.30 pm the Focus 5G with Philip Miola, President & CEO Array System Srl and Vice President of Confindustria Vicenza with responsibility for Digitization, e Stephen Quintarelli, entrepreneur and communications and IT expert. At 19 Foundation Open Factory, a project born from the collaboration between the Caritro Foundation, the Cariparo Foundation, the Cariverona Foundation and the Elis Consortium, will present some cases of happy contamination between startups and SMEs. In parallel, the second episode of the Startup spritz will be staged, with innovative companies confronted with incubators T2i is 311 Verona.
November 20
On the final day of the Festival of the Future, Saturday 20 November, the Future Arena is entirely dedicated to “We invest in the future in collaboration with the University of Verona”, an event-meeting in which all spin-offs and initiatives linked to innovation born in recent years within the University will be able to meet and network. In this context, startups and incubators of the University of Verona will be staged during the Startup spritz.
