Alessandro Hatami

Alessandro is the founder and managing partner of the consulting firm Pacemakers.io, specialized in driving the digital transformation in payments, financial services and banking organizations. He has been involved in digital innovation for over 15 years. Previously he was COO of Digital Banking at Lloyds Banking Group, Head of Large Merchant Services at PayPal UK, MD of PayPoint.net and CMO of GE Capital Finance. He is a non-executive director of Cashplus Bank, a mentor to several FinTech start-ups and an investor in a number of early-stage technology companies. Alessandro is a well-known figure in European fintech and participates as a speaker at events around the world. His latest book “Reinventing Banking and Finance” was rated by Investopedia in the United States as the best overall banking book of 2022.

He holds degrees in engineering from Georgia Tech and the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and an MBA from INSEAD. He lives in London with his partner and two daughters.

Paolo Iacci

President of Eca Italia, National President of AIDP Promotion (Italian Association for Personnel Management), he holds the chair of "Human Resource Management" at the State University of Milan, after having been President of BCC Credito Consumo and General Manager of Pride group. Previously, he had held HR and organization director positions in Italtel, Reader's Digest, Banca Intesa and Iccrea Holding. Former board member of Bocconi University and of some other public and private companies, he is scientific director of the HR Masters of Business School 24. He is editor-in-chief of the web magazine Hr On Line, scientific director of the quarterly Human Resources Department, collaborator of Harvard Business Review, author of numerous volumes of management and work.

Alessandra Lanza

Senior Partner since 2019 and Partner since 2013. He is responsible for the Industrial and Territorial Strategies Practice. She is a director of Epic SIM and an independent director of Emak SpA. Graduated in 1994 in Political Science with an economics specialization from the University of Turin, in 1995 she obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the Victoria University of Manchester. He began his career in 1997 in Fiat as Senior Economist. From 2002 to 2004 she was Advisor to the Italian Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. From 2004 to 2006 she was Chief Economist and Head of International Relations at SACE. From 2006 to 2008 she was Head of Corporate Customer Marketing at Intesa Sanpaolo. In Prometeia since 2008, she has always dealt with macroeconomics, development economics, country risk, international economics, industrial and business economics. Over the course of his professional experiences, he has developed a mix of skills in the sectors of industry, credit insurance, the banking system and international organizations.

Alessandro M. Lerro is an Italian lawyer, engaged for over 25 years in innovation and new technologies. Founder and managing partner of the AVVOCATI.NET law firm in Milan, he is one of the best known alternative finance experts and one of the most eminent lawyers in this sector, awarded several national and international awards.
President of the Scientific Committee of AssoFintech, President of the Italian Equity Crowdfunding Association, Member of the Advisory Board of AssoHolding, collaborates with Cambridge University and the Milan Polytechnic and is a member of various scientific committees.
He is an appreciated international speaker, author and lecturer on alternative finance and financial intermediaries.

Martina Levato

Content creator and book influencer. Martina Levato is 25 years old and since she was very young she has been passionate about everything that falls within the world of entertainment, so much so that she has made it her job by graduating from SDM, the musical school, in 2019.
In March 2020 he opens his tiktok account, initially for fun, and begins to share his great passion for reading on his social profiles, creating a very affectionate community made up of more than 220 thousand people of all ages. To date, he dedicates himself daily to the creation of social content based on his readings and, in general, on the world of reading and, for some months now, recording audiobooks.

He has more than 25 years of experience in Strategy and Management Consulting focused on long-term Value Transformations. He has a deep experience of Consumer, Retail and Automotive & Transportation Businesses. Passionate about Innovation and Tech, Ecosystem Business Model and Sustainability. He is also serving as Consumer Product and Retail Leader for EY's Europe West Region.

Carla Masperi

In July 2022 Carla Masperi was appointed President and CEO of SAP Italia with the responsibility of Cluster Lead for Italy and Greece.
Previously, from July 2014, Masperi held the role of Chief Operating Officer of SAP Italy and Greece with responsibility for business development and operations in the two countries. Masperi joined SAP Italia in March 2013 as Database & Technology Director with the task of defining and implementing the strategy in the Database, Technology and Mobility fields.
From 2008 to 2013 he held the role of CIO of the San Raffaele Hospital. Graduated in Economics and Commerce at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Carla Masperi has developed managerial experience and in-depth knowledge of the IT market thanks to a long career in IBM, SAP and REPLY.

Giorgio Metta

Giorgio Metta

Giorgio Metta is the scientific director of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Graduated in electronic engineering with honors (1994), he obtained a PhD (2000) from the University of Genoa.
From 2001 to 2002 he was a postdoc at the prestigious AI-Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He worked at the University of Genoa and since 2012 he is also Professor of Cognitive Robotics at the University of Plymouth (UK).
On behalf of IIT, he managed relations with funding bodies and international relations, and in this role he was a member of the board of directors of euRobotics aisbl, the reference association for European robotics.
Giorgio Metta held the position of Deputy Scientific Director of IIT from 2016 to 2019.
He coordinated the participation in two of the competence centers of the Ministry of Economic Development for industry 4.0 (ARTES4.0, START4.0). He was one of the three Italian representatives at the 2018 G7 forum on Artificial Intelligence and, more recently, one of the authors of the Italian Strategic Agenda on Artificial Intelligence.
He coordinated the development of the iCub robot for over a decade, making it the de facto reference platform for AI research. Currently, there are more than 40 robots around the world, in research laboratories in countries such as Japan, China, Singapore, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
His research activities take place in the field of bio-inspired systems and humanoid robotics, with particular reference to the design of machines that can learn from experience. Giorgio Metta is author or co-author of more than 300 scientific publications and has worked as PI in about a dozen international and industrial research projects.

Alberto Melotti

Melotti, 56 years old, from Verona, in the course of his more than thirty-year career he has always worked on the network since 1987 and since 1998, following his appointment as branch owner, he has assumed roles of increasing responsibility, until in 2017 he became head of the BPV Private Service . Since February 2018 he has held the position of Sales Manager of the Verona and North East Territorial Department of Banco BPM and since October 2019 he has been responsible for the Lodi Pavia Liguria Territorial Department of Banco BPM. He has been Head of the Verona and North-East Territorial Department of Banco BPM for a year and manages the coordination and commercial support of an area with strong historical roots for the credit institution, made up of six retail areas and nine business centers for a total of over 190 branches located throughout the Triveneto.

Roberto Menotti

Roberto Menotti is Senior Advisor – International Activities at Aspen Institute Italia (Rome), Scientific Director of Aspenia online, and Deputy Director of Aspenia.
He was a columnist for Il Messaggero and Il Mattino, and Press Attaché to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2013-14. He has been a member of the Scientific Board of the NATO Defense College Foundation since 2018, and of the Scientific Committee of the Research Center for Geopolitics and Comparative Law (GEODI) since 2020.
Until July 2002 he was Deputy Director of the Center for International Political Studies (CeSPI). He has taught at LUISS Guido Carli (International Relations and Strategic Studies), John Cabot University (International Development), La Sapienza (International Journalism), UNINT (Geopolitical Scenarios), as well as giving lectures for academic and research centres, including the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CASD) and the NATO Defense College.
Among his publications, the volumes Decidere. How liberal societies deal with complexity (Rubbettino, 2021), Chaos world (Laterza 2010), XXI century: end of security? (Laterza 2003), Mediators in arms (Guerini 1999). He edited (with Rosa Balfour) Towards a concept of European foreign policy. The external and security challenges for the EU, (Rubbettino, Military Center for Strategic Studies 2004), and (with Sonia Lucarelli) International Studies. The places of knowledge in Italy, (Associated Editions 2002). He has contributed to various collective volumes, published in Italy and abroad, on issues of international relations and security.
He has published articles in International Politics, Italian Political Science Review, Political Theory, Limes, Information Problems, Turkish Policy Quarterly, Middle East Quarterly, Journal of International Relations and Development (with Sonia Lucarelli), Survival and Europe's World (with Marta Up there).
He received the Amerigo Journalistic Award in 2013 as Scientific Director of the Aspenia online website.

Marco Micheli

Director of External Relations, Communication and Sustainability (Telepass SpA)
Marco Micheli, 42 years old, has been responsible for the external communication of the Telepass group since 2020, with particular regard to relations with the media and institutions, at the same time supervising all strategic reputational initiatives for the company, including sustainability and ESG best practices. Previously, Micheli gained experience in leading credit and finance institutions, both in Italy and abroad, always with reference to corporate and institutional communication. He graduated cum laude in Public Relations from IULM University and holds an MBA in International Management from the Henry B. Tippie School of Management of the University of Iowa (USA).

Matteo Montan

Matteo Montan, 59, has been the CEO of the Athesis publishing group for four years, a reference media company in the Lombardy-Veneto region which includes numerous newspapers, online sites, leading TV and radio stations in the provinces of Verona, Vicenza, Brescia and Mantua, as well to the Milanese publishing house Neri Pozza, winner of the 2021 Strega Prize. Matteo is a forward thinker with 30 years of experience in Italy and abroad who, first as a journalist and then as a manager, has dedicated his life to revolutionizing the media sector. 

Graduated in law, he made his debut as a reporter in the 90s, obtaining the "Premiolino" and the "Reporter of the Year" award. 

In 2000 Matteo left active journalism to launch Buongiorno SpA with a group of friends, the most important success story of the Italian digital industry, the company that creates and leads the global content and services sector for years mobile and for which Matteo held key managerial roles. In 2013 Matteo chose to return to the media world to bring his own editorial, managerial and digital know-how, first as CEO of the Gazzetta di Parma Group, whose radical change he led, and then as CEO of Athesis, called to lead the transformation of the Group from a pure publisher to a media company that drives local development.
