What if we could answer the phone with just one finger? We are not talking about science fiction, but about bone conduction, the bone technology that is the basis of Get TM, the multi-purpose hi-tech bracelet invented by the brothers Edoardo, Emiliano and Enrico Parini and produced by the startup Deed. Between fitness bracelets and smartwatches - and for this reason defined by its creators as “Smart Bridge” -, Get TM is a band that connects to the smartphone via bluetooth. When a call comes in, it starts vibrating and with a simple twist of the wrist it can be answered. By bringing the index finger to the ear, you hear a voice announcing the name of the caller and, consequently, the call starts. The hand, therefore, acts as a sounding board, while the bracelet is equipped with a small microphone, which constitutes the other part of the hypothetical handset.
The wearable made in Italy
"The human body is the perfect interface. Get TM was born from this conviction, with the desire to combine the best of wearable technology and the best of made in Italy design »say the Parini brothers. Deed grew up within I3P, the incubator of innovative companies of the Polytechnic of Turin, and is part of the virtual community of the Festival of the Future, Experience the Future.

After receiving an initial loan of € 700,000 and a capital increase of € 500,000 underwritten by a club deal of private investors and angels specialized in the IT sector, Deed has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter platform and in just a few days he raised more than $ 30,000 with pre-orders from around the world.

The three founders, in fact, thinking about the future have clear ideas and ambitious projects: "We want our technology to be as accessible as possible, so that everyone can enjoy true innovation and unprecedented experiences ».
In addition to phone calls, with Get you can also perform other operations, such as making payments, dictating instructions to voice assistants, tracking the sleep cycle and monitoring sports activities. Furthermore, the system automatically recognizes the person wearing it. But the possibilities are truly endless. With the MIBACT, for example, we are studying a touristic variation of the bracelet, to facilitate the visitor experience in Italian locations. A few months ago, thanks to an agreement with the Maxxi of Rome, it was decided to use Get as an audio guide.
And also other realities such as Spotify and Nastro Azzurro have adopted Deed technology: Spotify, for the launch event of the singer Ultimo and Nastro Azzurro to organize a silent concert on the Milanese canals. Next stop? Experience the future!
