There is not only it streaming which is revolutionizing the world of football and, above all, its use by spectators and fans. Among the innovations there is also the field of sport analytics constantly growing, because it allows you to analyze statistics and data unthinkable until a few years ago. Thanks to technology, it is now possible to hypothesize forecasts, study the performance of players and learn more about the evolution of a team. He focuses on this Wall Street Football, an innovative startup that is part of the community Experience the future. In view of the Festival del Futuro, scheduled from 18 to 20 November, we are talking about some of the actors who are part of the innovative ecosystem.

Wall Steet Football: what it does

Marco Doorbells, CTO of Wall Street Football, he explained to us how the idea was formed and what they are areas business of the company. "Founded in 2017, the startup was born with the aim of creating a financial market behind the performance of football players". The algorithm realized was then applied to betting and the sector of sport analytics. «The first product developed was a portal to allow users to buy players' shares, exactly as if they were shares. And earn based on their performance ».

As Campanelli explained to us Wall Street Football goes to unite the three of them worlds which in Europe and America are growing. "I'm talking about betting, fantasy football and the financial market applied to sport". At the moment the industry on which the Italian company is focusing the most is that of betting. "In Italy we are concluding the first commercial contracts with operators and we have closed one with Scientific Games, an American company". The last capital increase, at the beginning of the year, was 700 thousand euros.

In perspective, however, there also seems to be the possibility of a dialogue with football clubs. «The amount of data available today is very high - concluded the CTO of Wall Street Football - and now a lot of teams are building their acquired campaigns on top of it. Since we have the ability from an IT point of view to synthesize information, this is a vertical that we want to deepen ».
